Wow, has it been that long?

Wow.. over a year since my last post... it's been a while...

Alot has happened since last March..

The most different thing is that last April, the 20th to be exact, I lost the last portion of my left index finger... it was crushed by a steel tube... the doctor tried to salvage it, but that effort appeared to be futile.

Ok so that's about the only big thing...

Well, today is Easter and my cat is freakin out for some reason...

Oh yeah, I got a cat last year also!
I will post some pictures later.

For those who are going to give me the be careful speil, save it.. I've heard it too many times already. I have a helmet on order, I'm takin the rider's safety course next month, and it is not powerful enough to get me goin fast enough to hurt myself.

Anyway, just thought I'd let ya'll know.

What's this?

Yeah, so I had today, Sunday, off. So, naturally, I stayed up late playin video games and woke up late. However, when I woke up, IT WAS SNOWING!?!?!? Isn't March supposed to be the month where things slowly warm up and you don't get much precip because 'April showers bring May flowers.'

Anyway, needless to say, I stayed indoors ALL day. It sucked, but I needed it. Especially with a job like mine.

Speaking of jobs.

My interview on Thursday went very well. The interviewer was impressed with my knowledge of manufacturing, metallugy, and mechanics. Wow, perhaps we should just call it 3M! HA!

I had the Q&A stuff. Then she took me on a tour of the plant, pretty cool stuff. Then I took a 'dumbass' test. It was easy, so no worries there. All I'm waiting on now is a background check.

Other than that, I stumbled on another opportunity yesterday. Schmaltz Deli. For those who don't know, its a deli located in the same plaza as Butterfields Pancake House at Ogden and Naper.

So, things are starting to look better. I will be picking up my motorcycle this week, don't know what day yet because the weather looks kinda crappy all week. It is a 1990 Kawasaki Vulcan 500. I want a Harley, but they are tooo damned expensive now because they are 'so hot right now' as Mugatu would say. And for those who plan on givin me the 'be careful' diatribe, save it. I've heard them all already, and I'm still gettin it!

Anyway, back to watchin the political, all financial, rigged show they call the Oscars.

A Window To My World

Hello everyone.

Finally, I have opened a window to my world. Not that I expect many people to read this, but I think it would be nice for some people to know what kind of stuff I've been up to.

Well, as of recent, I have been looking for a new job. Turtle Wax is ok, but I really don't appreciate having to work 50 hours a week, getting paid for 40, being the only person at my store who knows how to fix ANYTHING, being the only person at my store who knows the computer system inside and out (literally), and being the only person who knows the company policies. It is ridiculous. I've been waiting for a promotion review for 5 months now.

I have an interview at an industrial pipe fabricator company in Bedford Park on thursday, so we'll see what happens there. Also, I have an offer on the table with Chicago Cycle in Skokie. But that job would involve a paycut.

Anyway, I went to the driving range with my bro-in-law on Saturday. Fun times. my arms hurt though. Then played some Golden Tee. It's weird. I've known him for a while now, but I've only hung out with him twice. He's cool. Nice catch sis! lol

Well, its my day off today, so I think I'm gonna bum it around for a few hours, do some laundry, do some dishes, and perhaps get a salad for lunch.
